NO PLACE, UKIt was a tight race, but Earth held on to its winning streak again this year, inching out Mars and the Moon by a hair.
"The moon ran a strong campaign this year," said geological scientist Matthew Harper. "The moon has a solid argument -- people have been there, and returned safely. And Mars was in the running, but the electorate recognized that just because people want there to be life on Mars, doesn't make it so."
